If you have not guessed it by now, I'm a Southerner by birth. I grew up in Memphis Tennessee just about a mile from Graceland. And no, I did not know Elvis personally. I have not lived in Tennessee since the late '70s. I married Dave in '77 and have lived in many places since. Dave used to work in field engineering so his job took him [and us] all over the United States. Was there a place that we lived and I hated? Yes. Alaska. Dave loved Alaska. To me, it was cold and the people were less than friendly. I guess that I should explain that my 'Southern Accent' did not win favor with the locals. I couldn't wait to leave the place. Anyway, Dave's job took us to many places that I liked. My favorite was Savannah Georgia. My accent fit right in. Today, we live in Lake Havasu City Arizona. I love the desert heat [Dave hates it]. I am very active in my church and am a volunteer at St Vincent De Paul. Dave bought me a Valentines Day gift last year, her name is Ginger and she is my little Princess. |
| She is an absolute joy and we are happy that we have her. Dave plays with her and she is my baby. As a joke, Dave created a web page for her. Dave also created a joke web page for me as well. The pictures to the right are of my daughter and her family. They live in Southaven Mississippi. We visit her and our grand kids every year.
Well, I'm not as verbose as Dave, I do not have too much to say -- so I will say goodbye. I hope that you enjoyed your visit on my page. Be seeing you.
