HAPPY 58th BIRTHDAY, TERRY & JERRY!

My three siblings and I have been trying to locate our younger twin brothers, Terry & Jerry. In 1950 our parents had to make a very difficult decision. After trying to keep the twins for 8 months, they gave Terry & Jerry a better life through adoption. Over the past fifty years, several attempts have been made to locate the twins, and now we are utilizing cyberspace to aid us in this search.
Listed below is some very general information that is followed by a number of photographs. If you believe that you may be one of (or know) our twin brothers, please contact me at twinbrothers50@yahoo.com. Not only do we want to know how they are doing, we also have some very important health information to pass along.

On January 23, 1950, Terry and Jerry were born.

Our family lived in a small town in Upstate New York.

Terry was sick with serious ear infections and needed surgery.

After falling on hard times, our parents were forced to release the twins into adoption on September 20, 1950.

In 1959, our father passed away after a long illness.

Attempting to find the twins, our mother could get no further than a lead in Texas (which may very well have been false).

Trait Clue: Grey hair at an early age seems to be hereditary in our family.

Note: Although our parents requested that the twins remain together while retaining the names "Terry" and "Jerry," this request may not have been honoured. The twins could have been seperated, and probably have different names.

LATEST LEAD: We recently have had two different sources state (rather confidently) that the twins were in Fort Plain, NY. They most likely would have moved since, and the family may have even left the area before the twins graduated from high school.
