Welcome to the Lake Havasu Regional Orchestra

The LHRO was founded in Lake Havasu City, Arizona, in 1978. Today, it is made up of members from the tri-state area of Arizona, California and Nevada, under the direction of Daniel Weidner.

The orchestra offers Lake Havasu City and the surrounding communities an expanded variety of music, from classical arrangements of great composers’ music to familiar tunes from Broadway musicals and movie themes.

For the 2015-2016 season, the orchestra will present two concerts: January 9 and April 2, 2016. Concerts are held in the Lake Havasu City Performing Arts Center at 2675 Palo Verde Boulevard South, in Lake Havasu City, AZ. Tickets go on sale two weeks before the performance and are available from LHRO musicians and at Sound Bank Electronics in Lake Havasu City.

The Lake Havasu Regional Orchestra welcomes musicians of all ages and musical backgrounds to come together and enjoy the performance of classical and contemporary orchestral music.

The purpose of the Lake Havasu Regional Orchestra is to provide musicians with the opportunity to become better musicians and to perform in concerts, to promote music appreciation in the community and to offer quality programs for community enjoyment, and to support music students through scholarships.
