Kingman Dolphin Swim Team - How to Volunteer

The Kingman Dolphn Swim Team is a non-profit organization with the goal of developing swimmers for the purpose of summer competition, and later, high school competition and beyond. The KDST Board of Directors is all volunteer. the only paid positions are those of the coaches. Therefore, parental involvement and participation is critical for KDST success. It is important to the team's success that EACH parent volunteer in some way. Involvement ranges from selling snacks at home meets to board positions. In your Parent and Swimmer Handbook is a form for you to fill out and return to one of the coaches, during the first week of swimming if possible.

Volunteer opportunities:

timing
helping in the snack bar
setting up before the meet
helping take down after the meet
cooking at the invitational meet
chaperoning the "Gold" trip
finish place judge
soliciting donations (cash or goods)
making phone calls as needed
helping with product sales
helping at swim-o-rama
card runner at home swim meets
meet announcer
