In all honesty, this
was a good batch of storms, but the photos I shot just don't
give it justice. As we started our chase about 4:30 in the
afternoon, there was good development, to the south of us in Kearney
County, and we followed. We had seen some real storm chasers
heading east towards Hastings Nebraska. There was a
reported tornado on the ground by Juniata NE, moving east towards
Hasting. We were to far to catch up with it. So we end the day
about 9:30pm.
But to our avail, we had another round of storms developed just to
the west of Kearney, and as you can see the shelf cloud below,
produced some mighty interesting cloud formations. |
